A beautiful mid-century armchair GFM-142, designed by Edmund Homa. The armchair was made in the 1960s in the Gosciecinska Furniture Factory. Made from solid beech wood. The GFM-142 armchair is regarded one of the best Polish armchair design from the previous age. The armchair has been thoroughly renovated. The tension belts have been changed, new upholstery foams - upholstery fabric of the highest quality - velvet in dalmatian print. Inspired by the coat of a damaltien, Tottenham Dalmatian velvet features a pea pattern on a plain background. Originally painted with brushstrokes, the design of this textile has dark spots. The set is printed on a velvet for a luxurious result and a pleasant texture to the touch. Special price for this auction. Only one unique armchair available in this price.

The 366 armchair is an icon of the polish design of the PRL period. The famous armchair was designed in 1962 by the Polish interior designer and furniture designer Jozef Marian Chierowski. Produced in the Lower Silesian Furniture Factory in Swiebodzice. The chair has a simple, modernist form. It consists of an upholstered seat combined with a wooden backrest. The organic shape is typical of the 1960s style. The chair is very ergonomic and comfortable, as the furniture designs of that time were largely focused on the user.
