At the same time, especially in Europe, the modernist design movement was often based on traditional styles and approaches, such as wood turning. This chair model boasts a functional, well-thought-out structure, crafted from quality oak. The openness of the piece is highlighted by its horizontal slats, from the stretchers placed between the feet to the the backrest. Still, at the heart of this chair lays its materials; the durable oak and the traditional woven wicker.
