Pair of Arm Chairs in the Style of Charles Rennie Mackintosh

About the Item

These stylish and chic ebonized arm chair takes their form and use of materials from a chair designed in 1904 by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The actual chair(s) designed and fabricated by Mackintosh was for Catherine Cranston of Glasgow, and the chairs were in the drawing room of her home. The chairs were produced by Cassina in the 1970s, and they are fabricated in ebonized wood, woven upholstery fabric and green colored slag glass.
