Rare Art Deco Armchairs by J. Halabala, Model H269, 1930s, Set of 2

About the Item

Set of two Art Deco armchairs designed by famous Jindrich Halabala in 1930s in Czechoslovakia. One of his iconic models, H269. The armchairs have been professionally restored, reupholstered in high quality fabric from Danish brand KVADRAT and all the foam and internal upholstery has been replaced, original springs construction preserved. The textile we used in this particular project is „Hallingdal65” in grey and brown melange. „Hallingdal65” is one of Kvadrat’s all times classics, produced continuously since 1960s. The wooden elements have been cleaned and refinished with wax that gave them natural and smooth finishing touch. Also original paper tag was preserved and sewn back under the seat. The armchairs are very comfortable and ready for everyday use. Please get in touch with us for any questions you may have about this item’s condition, authenticity, or any question in general.
