Thanks to his innovative designs, Eric Merthen has contributed to the reputation of IRE Möbel, which is known for its high quality furniture and timeless Scandinavian design. Merthen’s designs, like this set of ‘Cadett’ easy chairs, are often inspired by Swedish nature, using materials such as wood and leather. Although little is known about his life, Eric Merthen is considered one of the most talented Swedish designers and his work for IRE Möbel has contributed to the company’s global reputation.
