Set of Six Mid Century Armchairs, Dedar Jamu Jungle, type B-6148, Europe, 1960s

About the Item

Club Armchair B-6148 from the Radomsko Curved Furniture Factory Designed and produced in 1960s in Poland. Timeless form and comfortable ergonomics. The line of the backrest and armrests clearly indicate patterns taken from the Danish trend. Thanks to its excellent design, the armchair is very functional and comfortable. Furniture after comprehensive carpentry and upholstery renovation. The frame made of beech wood has been cleaned of the old coating and protected again with oil, which highlights the natural color of the wood. The upholstery sponges have been replaced and covered with modern fabric from luxury Italian brand - Dedar. About the fabric: An irregular labyrinth of archaic inspiration evokes the stylized language of Cubism and the intriguing atmospheres of the speakeasies in vogue in the twenties. This luminous jacquard velvet endowed with a pronounced chromatic identity recalls wild animal skins in natural tones and the multicoloured plumage of tropical birds when interpreted in various vibrant colourways. With a soft hand-feel, it lends itself to intensive upholstery use and curtains. Composition: 60% Viscose 40% Cotton Weight: 744 g/ml Martindale: 80000 We can prepare this armchair also in different wood and fabric colors. Please check the last pictures with samples. Here set of Six Armchairs is available.

Set of Six Mid Century 366 Armchairs, Velvet, Jozef Chierowski, Europe 1960
By Jozef Chierowski
Located in 05-080 Hornowek, PL
The 366 armchair is an icon of the polish design of the PRL period. The famous armchair was designed in 1962 by the Polish interior designer and furniture designer Jozef Marian Chierowski. Produced in the Lower Silesian Furniture Factory in Swiebodzice. The chair has a simple, modernist form. It consists of an upholstered seat combined with a wooden backrest. The organic shape is typical of the 1960s style. The chair is very ergonomic and comfortable, as the furniture designs of that time were largely focused on the user. Due to its small size, the furniture fits perfectly into the interiors of contemporary apartments, perfectly meeting the needs of customers. The chair is in perfect condition after a professional renovation. We can prepare this set also in another wood and fabric color. About the fabric: This is special collection of velvet in a stunning color range of more than 100 different shades of both pure classic and non-obvious pastel broken colors. The colour palette has been created with extreme attention following the most recent trends. The unique feature of this fabric is its producing in nanotechnologies, so called WATER CLEAN, which gives it a high resistance to stains and facilitates the removal of stains from coffee, chocolate and even ink. This fabric is a perfect imitation of cotton velvet, gives the effect of softness and matte surface which works very well in heavy curtains...
