On offer on this occasion is a rare, striking pair of “EJ5 Corona” Chairs dressed in Black “Apache” Leather, from the world-renown Danish furniture house of Erik Jorgensen. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this listing, Jorgensen pieces are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard. In a world of temporary pleasures, Erik Jorgensen creates beautiful furniture that lasts a lifetime, and remains a joy forever. This suite is in superb, beautifully-maintained condition, reflecting the exceptionally-infrequent employment it has seen in the past, and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and remarkably-light, considerate use afforded it in the past, with only a couple of minor issues worthy of mention. In this case, there is the odd, very-very light superficial mark to the leather and framework but, as the images provided will attest, these issues prove to be of little or no-significance and, rather than being mentioned because they detract from the beauty of the suite, are mentioned purely for the purposes of accuracy. Please view the images provided closely to confirm the fine original condition and stunning appearance of these icons. Whilst its current condition is likely to fall short of the requirements of the true, most-uncompromising of perfectionists due to the issues mentioned above, for all others this suite is nothing short of a dream-come-true. The dimensions of each chair are H-97cm, W-88cm, W-82cm, and the breathtaking seating position this iconic modern-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered composite-filled back and seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms. Not only do they possess an aesthetic to die for, but they seat beautifully too.
