What... a... find, in the million or so of these types of chairs that have been made over the last 280+ years, this is the only one I have ever seen, that has ever been pictured, that has the table arm, this will no doubt end up in a museum or some important private collection, I was absolutely blown away when I saw it The timber is glorious Elm, the patina especially to the seat base is exquisite, this is pure art furniture from every angle, it dates to the mid to late 19th century so 1860-1880 This chair has been lightly cleaned waxed and polished, the frame has been checked and secured, it is in lovely condition throughout. Dimensions Height:- 95cm Width:- 70.5cm Depth:- 64cm Seat height:- 38cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
