Superb Pair of Gold Leaf Gilded French Louis XVI Style Armchairs with Birds
About the Item
This is a spectacular pair of armchairs is part of a full salon set with an additional pair of identical armchairs and settee listed separately. The finish and carving is extraordinary and naturalistic. The upholstery is recently re-done ad still good. Because the chairsare used, we do not guarantee perfection of used upholstery but it is still good and has minor signs of age and use. The chairs date to the 1920s era and is French.
