Tetrad John Lewis Blenheim Brown Leather Shell Back Armchair Feather Cushion

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely buffalo leather shell back armchair with brown velvet feather filled cushion made by Tetrad England and retailed through John Lewis A very popular and now discontinued chair, the buffalo leather is very thick and soft, its hand dyed 6 times to achieve this wonderful vintage look and feel. The brown velvet cushion, as opposed to a leather cushion, harks back to the old Edwardian Gentleman’s club suites, they all had velvet or fabric cushions for the summer and leather for the winter, this one has goose feather padding so is exceptionally comfortable We have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished the leather and wood frame from top to bottom, the velvet upholstery has been lightly cleaned and is in good order throughout, honestly this chair looks pretty much 10/10 to my eyes, it may have some patina marks here and there but they only add to the look feel and charm Dimensions: Height 77cm Width 78cm Depth 83.5cm. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
