Vintage armchairs in the style of Afra & Tobia Scarpa's Carlotta, 1960s-1970s

About the Item

Armchair, likely designed in the late 1960s or early 1970s, is inspired by the famous Carlottamodel by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Cassina. With its bold geometric lines and comfortable seating, it is a unique piece, perfect for 20th-century furniture enthusiasts. The frame is made of exotic wood, probably rosewood, and showcases beautiful exposed joinery, highlighting high-quality craftsmanship. The seat is supported by a system of straps, ensuring excellent support and optimal flexibility. The backrest, also fitted with straps, is subtly covered with brown fabric for a refined finish. The cushions, upholstered in brown skai, have developed a lovely patina over time, adding extra comfort to the piece. With its minimalist design and well-balanced lines, this armchair fits seamlessly into both vintage and contemporary interiors. Its authenticity and character make it a standout addition to any design furniture collection.
