Vintage Italian Postmodern Charlie Swivel Chair by Carlo Bimbi & Nilo, 1980s
About the Item
A design that is strongly influenced by a postmodern language of form and materiality. Surfaces of black plastic are applied to a frame of chromed tubular steel. These form the seat and backrest of the chair and are provided with striking perforations. These openings are not purely ornamental, but have a functional character. They form a handle or serve for ventilation. The chair is of course swivel and height adjustable and has a 5 star base.
