About the Item

This early 20th-century elmwood bench would have originally resided in the courtyard of a Qing-dynasty home to provide much-needed outdoor seating on hot summer days. The bench is designed in a classical Ming style, with a floating panel top, simple spandrels, and round legs linked by double stretchers. Refinished to a warm walnut color, the petite bench has an easy, timeless design that works seamlessly into any interior. Additional dimensions: Table apron to floor: 16.5".
