Early 20th C. French Louis XV Carved Piano Bench with Cane and Gilt Accents

About the Item

Elegant and finely detailed, this early 20th-century French piano bench is crafted in the Louis XV style and showcases the graceful curves and ornate carvings typical of the period. The carved wood frame features a shaped apron, cabriole legs, and intricate floral and acanthus motifs, all enhanced by a soft bleached finish with hand-applied gilt accents that highlight the sculptural elements. The seat and double ends are hand-caned, creating a light and refined profile while remaining sturdy and comfortable.
