French Napoleon III Style Gilt Wood Knot Base Ottoman

About the Item

A fantastic and very decorative French Pouf Ottoman with an intricate Gilt Wood Knotted Rope base. With good size and a high Cushion custom upholstered in a William Morris type Leaf Pattern fabric in Browns, Tans and Sage Green. Measurements: The Ottoman Measures 23” diameter by 17” high. Condition: Please see detail photos. The overall condition is very good with age-related gilt losses to the roping and a loss to one foot which has been re-gilded and does not detract from the stylish and superb presentation.
