George III Period Chinese Chippendale Blind Fret Legged Bench

About the Item

A very good English mahogany bench with blind fret carved legs connected by unusually complex open fret Chinese Chippendale fret stretchers. Freshly upholstered in a chic caramel tan woven fabric and further embellished with brass rosette form tacks. Sturdy, in good antique condition with polished and waxed, signs of age and use, lovely antique patina. H: 19 W: 26 ½ D: 17 ¾ Seat Height: 19”
