About the Item

Here we have a rosewood hallway set from the 1960s made by Wards Ateljéer AB. It comes together with a black leather cushion for the bench. It's possible to complete the bench with a matching mirror, which is also available! This bench was used in the past for several reasons. Firstly, it made narrow corridors more functional and inviting. Secondly, as a telephone bench, it offered the user a place to sit while talking on the telephone, which used to be placed in the hallway. Over the years the bench has acquired light wear and patina. The general condition of the wood is very good and the black leather cushion is also in perfect condition.
