The upholstery, redone in a fabulous, vintage-feeling heavy knit fabric, is in showroom condition and has never even been sat in. Among those who purchased Afdal’s designs were First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and the Japanese Emperor as well as other notable heads of state during the mid-20th century. His work is characterized primarily by a refined understanding of material and form.
