About the Item
A pair of elegant 'April' folding chairs, designed by the trail-blazing female Italian architect and designer Gae Aulenti. Designed in 1972 for Zanotta and inspired by a classic directors chair, these folding chairs are a nod to the classic whilst being effortlessly striking in their own way. Produced from chrome-plated steel with canvas base and backrest. Effortlessly foldable.
Highly collectible pieces - they would work beautifully around a small dining table, or as a bedroom or study chair.
See photos for condition - some marks are visible but not obvious when folded. These chairs are 53 years old!
