Gio Ponti "The Piazza Eindhoven, 1968" Rare Edition Chair with Metal End Caps

About the Item

Gio Ponti "De Piazza Eindhoven" Rare Leggera edition with metal end caps. These Leggera chairs were special designed for restaurants with metal end caps and used for the Piazza in Eindhoven. The Piazza (Bijenkorf, the netherlands, Eindhoven) was designed by the Italian architect, Gio Ponti. For this assignment Ponti was inspired by his view from the plane while flying over the Netherlands – lots of green, divided into squares, and the typical Dutch channeled structure. We have 3 more pieces in stock but they need new upholstery, the price is per piece.
