Italian Arca Folding Chair by Gigi Sabadin for Crassevig

About the Item

This original Italian folding chair, designed by Gigi Sabadin for Crassevig in the 1970s, is a true design classic. The frame is made of steam-bent solid ash wood, while the curved seat is covered with Vienna straw, complemented by chrome hinges. The chair is in excellent restored condition and bears the "Crassevig" brand stamp. In 1979, the Arca chair was nominated for the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award.
