Italian modern chairs Medea by Vittorio Nobili for Fratelli Tagliabue, 1960s
Pair of chairs model Medea with seat and back in curved light wood with a glossy finish. There is a decorative hole between the seat and the back. The legs are in black painted metal rod with black feet.
Produced by Fratelli Tagliabue in 1960s and designed by Vittorio Nobili. Logo printed under the seat. Published for the first time in issue 329 of Domus in April 1955 and reported for the Compasso d'Oro award in 1956.
Good condition. They have light scattered signs of use and time.
Measurements in cm 46x58x82h and 43h seat
This seat is suitable both for a formal place such as an office or a waiting room, and for an informal place such as a bedroom, a living room, a dining room or an entrance hall. This chair from the fine Italian manufacture of the mid-1900s has an elegant and beautiful silhouette in its simplicity. It also has a comfortable seat.
