Late 18th Century Jacobean Style Hall Chair

About the Item

A late 18th Century Jacobean style Hall chair in deeply stained Oak, peg construction, panel back, arch crest, turned arm supports and legs and traditional carved seat apron with incised decoration. Very solidly constructed with good weight and an admirable age patina. Custom Diamond pattern seat cushion with rope trim and ties. Dimensions: 45" H x 24 1/2" W x 17" D 17 1/2"SH Condition: Please see detail photos. There are a few signs of great age including a stable age crack to the back panel and expected time softened wear to the feet which do not detract from the authentic Jacobean presentation.
