Mid Century Oak Model 171 Dining Chairs from Slagelse Møbelværk, Denmark, 1950s.

About the Item

A complete set of four Danish chairs Model 171 produced in the Danish workshop Slagelse Møbelværk in the 1960s. The chairs were sold at Amager Bolighus in Copenhagen, as evidenced by the preserved signatures. They are made of oak wood. The chairs feature uniquely designed backs. The chairs have undergone a comprehensive carpentry and upholstery renovation. The oak wood has been stripped of the old finish and finished with medium oak-colored wax. The upholstery interiors have been replaced, covered with a high-quality fabric in a light cream color.
