About the Item

Minimalist chair with a distinctive cantilever by Merrow Associates based on a design by Richard Young from the 1960s. The projection of the seat shell is particularly eye-catching. The frame catches these easily. The frame is particularly narrow and can hardly be seen from the front. This is supported by the chrome-plated surface, which reflects the surroundings. The previous owner bought several of these chairs from Lauritz in Denmark a long time ago. The original upholstery color was purple. The chair was then professionally reupholstered with a rough, gray fabric. The chair is in very good condition and has hardly any signs of wear. Official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records or other literature sources is available.
