About the Item
One of a kind sculptural chair. An unusual design hand crafted in scagliola. The creative process resembles that used in sculpture making ; starting with a maquette, followed by a full scale model whilst taking into account ergonometric aspects. However predominantly the item is intended to be more of a design piece than functional. An intricate and complex structural steel armature made, primed and sealed and stucco process takes place involving repeated sanding, filling and polishing and resulting in a smooth finish.
Unusual and quirky design of a chair that would fit nicely in an entry hall corner, a living room or a bedroom.
