The "Sevilla" chair, designed in 1991 and first unveiled at the Seville Expo '92, is a stunning example of innovative design and craftsmanship. The chair features a striking frame crafted from stained bentwood paired with black lacquered metal, creating a harmonious balance of warmth and modernity. The seat and back are upholstered in luxurious leather, offering both comfort and sophistication.
This iconic chair was awarded first prize in a competition organized by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was prominently featured at the world-renowned Seville Expo '92. The same year, he and the manufacturer Møremøbler received the Good Design Award for the chair. A limited production piece, the "Sevilla" chair was only manufactured for a few years in the early 1990s, making it a rare and coveted design that continues to captivate with its timeless elegance and architectural form. In good vintage condition, this timeless piece continues to captivate with its seamless fusion of modernity and artistry.
