About the Item

Prismania high back chair by Elise Luttik. Limited edition Dimensions: D 48.5 x W 70 x H 150 cm Materials: polycarbonate transparent shell with a prismatic polyester film, steel, epoxy. Also available with black base. Palazzo is the youngest addition to the Prismania collection. The new high back chair puts you on a throne, empowering you with a royal backdrop of rainbow colors. At one point you barely see the transparent chair, take a step and it shows you all the colours of the spectrum. The chair can also embrace you with its arms and offer a comforting place to relax and let your mind wander freely. Prismania changes the view of the beholder. The room that is home (and has been most of our world this last year) alters into a version of itself that continues to change throughout the day. Elise Luttik (1983) is an alumna from the Industrial Design Department of Delft Technical University. Her work always features well considered technology, construction and ergonomics. Elise Luttik is an Industrial Designer intrigued by interactivity and dynamic of living space. Always with a feminine touch. In her designs she loves to play with transparency by using open structures and interesting transparent materials. In 2015 she introduced her Upside Down Collection to the public at the Salone Satellite and has been working on new collection, but form a great source of inspiration to keep working on additional pieces.
