FD 133 lounge chair by Finn Juhl from 1953

About the Item

The lounge chair nicknamed “Spade Chair”, presents the aesthetic characteristics of Juhl’s design, and is one of his most emblematic projects. High quality teak structure. A modest design with great attention to detail, organic curved lines and excellent comfort. The distinctive feature of this model are the delicate curves of the finely crafted wooden armrests which give it even more elegance. Juhl is known as one of the most important pioneers of Danish design. He was in fact the first Danish furniture designer to enjoy wide international recognition.
