A stunning pair of double sided cane slipper loungers, circa 1970. Handsome large scale ebony form with faux-bamboo detail accented in gold leaf. Heavy, expertly crafted mahogany construction. The chairs have aged to absolute perfection. Stout and comfortable - intended for heavy routine use. Organic jewelry designed to highlight an important space. Excellent restored condition. The chairs have been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. The finish demonstrates a rich tone, warmth and depth. All cane is pristine; intact and complete.
