About the Item

Elegant dormeuse from the Charles X period made of mahogany wood and fabric. Molded back, boat side, and curved feet typical of the period. The entire surface is inlaid. The dormeuse is in good condition although it needs restoration work on the textile and wooden parts. With a gritty new fabric, it once again becomes a striking and very comfortable piece of furniture.
