About the Item

Neoclassical Daybed, France 19th century Unique Neoclassical daybed, the slightly bent armrests are decorated with hand-carved decor showing a rosette in a diamond shaped field and a lambrequin motif. This design and motif was developed by the French furniture maker Henri Jacob (1753-1824), he became master in 1779. The daybed stands on slender Directoire style legs. It can be complemented by four matching chairs which are offered separately. (Compare the pictures.) The daybed will be shipped from Germany and includes standard shipping costs to Boston.
