1930s Set of 4 Gilbert Rohde Dining Chairs for Heywood Wakefield in Knoll Fabric

About the Item

Listed for sale is a set of four dining chairs, designed by Gilbert Rohde and produced by Heywood Wakefield. Gilbert Rohde was a hugely influential designer until his passing in 1944. He helped to advise and transform companies to adopt modern furnishing, including for Herman Miller, Heywood Wakefield, and Widdicomb. These gorgeous set of four chairs were produced in the 1930's and are simple yet elegant examples of his work. They were just freshly reupholstered by Forthright NYC, a masterful upholstery shop based in New York and Connecticut. The chairs were reupholstered in a light gray Knoll Textiles upholstery. They measure 32 inches tall by 16 inches wide and 24 inches deep. The price listed includes all four chairs.
