About the Item

1950’s French rush seated dining chairs pierre crueges – set of four 1950’s French rush seated dining chairs pierre crueges – set of four. One of our favourite mid century chairs by the French designer Pierre Crueges. The frames are beech with the classic accentuated back design by Crueges. The chairs have a warm original colour and are in exceptional condition. The woven rush seats are original and in very good condition. Our workshop has cleaned and rejuvenated each chair, brining out the original colour but retaining the originality. Seat height 45cm. Workshop report Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
