A grand and elegant set of twelve late 20th century dining chairs in the transitional Napoleon III style, sourced from Provence, France. Expertly hand-carved with intricate faux rope detailing throughout the frames, these chairs showcase exceptional craftsmanship and timeless design. Hand-crafted from solid mahogany, each chair has been structurally revised and features the generous gondola-style frame traditional to the Empire period. The frames have been gently refinished in a rich brown tone that highlights the natural depth and character of the aged wood. Newly upholstered in a refined off-white fabric with Caspian blue striped vines, the chairs offer both comfort and sophistication. The upholstery has been clean-finished with matching double-piping trim for a tailored and polished look. The spacious seats are supported by elegant tapered front legs ending in tassel shoes—a classic and graceful detail. Solid, stable, and constructed with excellent joinery and craftsmanship throughout.
