About the Item

This is a fantastic set of dining chairs featuring their original creme painted frames with a time-worn crackled finish and beautiful floral chenille velvet upholstery. The chairs are absolutely elegant in the way a swan would be considered elegant in design terms. The backs are curved and tall and flare out at their tops. The chairs are in good condition with a time-worn distressed finish and good usable upholstery with no major issues. They may have stains not shown as they are 80-year-old chairs. They are French-made and date to the 1940s era. Measures 36.25 tall x 23 wide x 27 deep and seat height is 20 inches.
