A superb set of four genuine Chiavari dining chairs by Fratelli Levaggi, crafted in northern Italy circa the 1950s. Celebrated for their artful engineering, these chairs marry elegance, strength, and feather-light construction—hallmarks of the classic Chiavari form. Each chair retains its original handcrafted wooden frame, thoughtfully reinforced at the seat for added durability, and expertly reupholstered in a textured wool-tweed that’s elegantly tufted with antique leather buttons, beautifully complementing both traditional and contemporary interiors.
