Set of 6 French Chairs

About the Item

A charming Set of six Louis XVI -style painted dining room chairs- oval backs on fluted tapered legs. The set still appears to be covered in their original mohair fabric, although it definitely has seen better days. The padding on the chairs also appears to be original and in surprisingly good condition for their age. The paint on the chairs is now in a charming "chippy" state. The chairs were found in the Lyon region of France and most likely came from a restaurant or hotel in the area. Each chair measures: 18 1/2" W 18"D 35 1/2" H Seat H 18"
