This elegant set of six dining chairs was designed by acclaimed Czech designer Miroslav Navrátil for Vertex during the mid-20th century. A key figure in postwar European design, Navrátil is celebrated for his forward-thinking use of materials and sculptural, ergonomic forms—both of which are beautifully exemplified in this rare collection.
Each chair features a molded fiberglass shell seat, newly upholstered in luxurious cream teddy fabric. The soft, textured boucle adds warmth and comfort, providing a contemporary twist on a classic mid-century profile. The gentle curve of the backrest and integrated seat create a cocoon-like effect, both visually inviting and supportive.
The bases are crafted from solid beechwood, known for its durability and fine grain.
