This is a rare and gorgeous set of 8 Maison Jansen gray painted and distressed finished dining chairs. They have a classic trapezoidal back and beautiful recent ( what we believe to be silk) upholstery. The chairs show wear to the finish which is desirable and part of the aesthetic appeal of these French chairs. The upholstery is clean and mostly free of damage or stains, but they are not new so perfection is unrealistic, but they show well. The chairs date to teh 1940s era.
