Set of Four French Art Deco Armchairs after Jules Leleu
About the Item
Extraordinary set of four French art deco chairs crafted from radiant mahogany after Jules Leleu. The chairs feature a large flared back with a contoured rest that is upholstered with an aged leather. The back has gracefully curved arms that conjoin to a thick padded seat. The leather is bordered by brass tack nail heads. The back of the chairs have exposed spindle supports in the frame. The generous seats are curved with a bowed front supported by elegant tapered legs. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship made in the wonderful manner and style of Jules Leleu. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
