Set of Four McGuire Cracked Ice Rattan Cane Dining Chairs

About
Genuine, authentic set of four California organic modern style bamboo rattan dining chairs made by McGuire. Designed by Elinor McGuire in 1968. The chair is known for its iconic "Shattered Glass" back splat made by joining small pieces of rattan lashed together with leather rawhide laces. The chairs have a caned seat topped with a loose seat cushion decorated with a complementary geometric pattern upholstery. The set features a dramatic matte black lacquered finish on the rattan. McGuire's maker's plaques are on the bottoms of each chair. Excellent joinery and craftmanship with tight caned seats.
