Set of Six French 19th Century Dining Room Chairs with Carved Guilloches Friezes
About the Item
A set of six French wooden dining room chairs from the 19th century, with four sides, two arms, carved guilloche motifs and custom cushions. Created in France during the 19th century, each of this set of dining chairs features a curving ladder back showcasing a nicely distressed appearance. Each seat has been newly reupholstered with a neutral toned fabric and presents a custom cushion. It is the base however, that attracts our attention with its four legs connected to one another through a cross stretcher accented with carved motifs, while the apron is beautifully adorned with a Neoclassical style guilloche frieze. With their clean lines and great patina, this set of six French dining room chairs will bring a touch of simple elegance to any dining room or breakfast area. The arms are 22"W x 21"D x 37"H (seat: 17"H) while the sides are 20"W x 17"D x 37.5"H (seat: 18.5"H).
