About the Item

A set of six Italian walnut dining room chairs from the early 19th century, with spindle-shaped backs, carved medallions and new upholstery. Created in Italy during the early years of the 19th century, each of this set of walnut side chairs features a pierced back with spindle motifs, resting above two hind saber legs. Showcasing a newly linen-upholstered seat with brass nailhead trim, each chair presents two cylindrical tapering legs in the front with carved medallions on the knees. Their elegant lines will make this set of six Italian walnut chairs circa 1800 an excellent addition to any dining room or breakfast area!
