About the Item
A spectacular Chippendale style set of six tiger maple dining chairs, two arm chairs and four side chairs, hand crafted by New Hampshire based manufacturer D.R. Dimes. Each solid chair features a beautifully carved crest with fan decoration, and a pierce scroll carved splat, and a cream colored upholstered slip seat. The D.R. Dimes brand appears on the underside of some of the side chairs. A fine example of true quality craftsmanship in the Chippendale style with amazing wood grain! The set dates to the late 20th century and is very good condition, with minimal imperfections, some very light seat stains, and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Armchairs: 39.5 in H x 26 in W x 22 in D; Side Chairs: 39.5 in H x 20 in W x 20 in D. Ref: 8
