On offer on this occasion is an irresistibly-handsome suite of Duresta "Lansdowne" seating (comprising of a 3-seat sofa, and an identical pair of large armchairs), dressed in their peerless top-grade, beautifully-tactile Tan-Brown "Niven" Leather. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this listing, Duresta pieces are the epitome of traditional English furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard. In a world of temporary pleasures, Duresta create beautiful furniture that remains a joy forever. This suite is in gorgeous, beautifully-maintained condition, reflecting the regular, considerate employment it has seen across its life, and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. With the leather having now relaxed to a buttery-soft, sumptuously tactile state, they are possibly the finest preloved leather seats you could hope to find. Obscenely attractive, whilst providing comfort beyond compare. Its fine order reflects the TLC and remarkably considerate use afforded it in the past but, as you should realistically expect from a suite of this colour and nature, there is the odd, minor compromise to be found. In this case, there are a small number of light, superficial marks to the seat, back and arms picked up through the normal, residential use it has been exposed to (as you might expect) but, as the images provided will attest, these issues prove to be of modest significance and, rather than being mentioned because they detract from the beauty of the pieces, are mentioned purely for the purposes of accuracy. Please view the images provided to confirm the majestic condition and hugely-impressive appearance of this sublime suite. They are in very, very good all-round order, and likely to meet with the approval of all but the true-perfectionist. The dimensions of the 2.5-seater are H-90cm, W-209cm and D-107cm, with the armchairs sharing these measurements apart from being 85cm wide, and the breathtaking seating position this iconic classic-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered feather-filled back and seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms. Costing in excess of £12,000 when new, this suite represents spectacular value for money, and we have no doubt it will serve and delight its new owner for many, many years to come.
