A very fine and palatial French 19th century Louis XV style giltwood carved five-piece salon suite, comprising of a canapé (Settee) and four fauteuils à la reine (Armchairs), all of grand size, high backs and recently re-upholstered, Paris, circa 1880.

- Condition:Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. A truly beutiful and Grand oversize salon suite with high backs and recent upholstery. Great quality gilt and minor rubbing on gold. Fabric in like new condition. This set was previously upholstered with an Aubusson Gobelin tapestry.
