About the Item
A magnificent 19th century French Louis XVI five piece carved walnut parlor suite richly upholstered in exceptional and rare handwoven Aubusson tapestries. The set includes four armchairs and a sofa or canapé, each finely carved with giltwood detail. The quality of the Aubusson tapestries is wonderful; there are some threadbare areas commensurate with the age of the pieces.
Note; Will sell the armchairs as pairs, a set of 4 or 6, and the sofa separately.
