1970s Mid-Century Modern Suite Caned Pair of Lounge Side Chairs

About the Item

A pair of Mid-Century modern side lounge chairs. Carved teak, satinwood and rosewood with caned seats. Caning is redone in a tightly woven design. Cushions have been custom made with a medium blue silk and linen fabric with zipper for easy cleaning (the blue is actually darker in real life). The chairs are 24" wide and listed separately is a companion love seat which is 49" wide. The Lockhart Collection is a personally curated gallery of antiques and fine jewelry, owned and operated by Deborah Lockhart Phillips. The antiques and vintage pieces encompass Nautical Artifacts & Instruments, Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern Furniture and Lighting, British Campaign furniture, and of course the finds that simply defy being categorized. The Lockhart Collection is a notable and trusted resource for many interior designers and movie production companies. An affinity for the sea, spirit of adventure, a discerning eye and a belief in keeping life interesting, informs her style and therefore the collection. Deborah sources quality, one-of-a-kind and distinguished pieces; found both domestically and abroad and has done so for over 30+ years. Located on Nantucket Island.
