Very rare two-seat sofa, most likely a one-off, designed by Erik Ole Jørgensen for Georg Jørgensen & Søn, Denmark, 1960. All original natural suede upholstery in nice vintage condition. Erik Ole Jørgensen (1925–2002) was a Danish furniture designer celebrated for his timeless creations and profound impact on Scandinavian design. Born in Copenhagen, he apprenticed with renowned cabinetmaker Kaare Klint before establishing his own studio in 1954. Jørgensen's designs seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetic appeal, embodying the principles of Danish Modernism. His iconic furniture pieces, including the EJ 220 Sofa and the People's Chair, showcase a commitment to craftsmanship and comfort.
